More About Us: The Women's Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1959. Our mission statement remains the same, "to encourage a progressive and civic community spirit". Our membership includes women of all ages and annual dues are $25. We usually meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm (September-May). We have a short business meeting, usually followed by an enrichment program, guest speaker or social activity. We are pleased to volunteer our services wherever they are needed in our community and a few of our community service projects include: providing an educational scholarship every year to lake residents, publishing the neighborhood phone directory every three years and organizing the annual city-wide garage sale.
